My name is Maggie and am on erand for my first love, Christ. This is a message to we the believers that call our selves christ-like. What is your definition of christ-like? Is it to condemn other people, gossip about them and see no good in them? What makes you a better person than these other people?.

In romans 8:1, the bible says, there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. So basically our judgement lies not in the hands of men, we have freedom from all types of condemnation. This is what Christ the messiah Himself said, so therefore why do we condemn others if we ourselves don`t want to be condemned. We all the time try to force people to church because you are filled with hatred of their character. The way you even talk to them says it all and they feel as if their case is emergency and needs immediate surgery. You see them as bad people.

A lot of us meets people of non or various religious believes and we are expected to show them love instead of trying to change them all the time. Where is the compassionate heart that christ expects us to possess? where is the meek and peaceful character that we as christian should have?. We lack all of these and yet we call ourselves christ-like and proud son of God. We are full of evil yet we say the non-believers are mainly the evil ones.

If we truly want to follow the path of christ and really wants to preach the word to the non-believers, then I guess we go back to our bible and equip ourselves with the love of God. By sharing this love, people will see a different perspective of how graceful, peaceful and loving my first love is. Remember where there is no love, hatred rules.

 1John 4:20 If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. This passage defines it all. You try first and show your neighbor love and then see if he/she will love your God.

I am not writing this to prove am a perfect christian but to try and encourage us to spread the love around and speak the love of God. Maggie.P
